Das System wird aufgrund seiner technischen Vorteile, wie Kontaktsicherheit und Wasserdichtigkeit, von vielen führenden Nutzfahrzeug-Herstellern in der Erstausrüstung eingesetzt. Das System verdrängt zunehmend die älteren 7-poligen Steckverbinder Generationen. Die Steckverbinder sind für ADR / GGVS-Anwendungen geeignet.
